Drought Tolerant Landscaping

“When the well is dry, we'll know the worth of water.”

-Benjamin Franklin

The US Department of Agriculture published in April, 2023 that "12% of land in Western US states was classified as experiencing extreme or exceptional drought, with an additional 20% being classified as severe."

A UCLA 2022 study found that this is the "most extreme mega drought in the last 1200 years."

Planting drought tolerant plants allows you to create a yard full of color and biodiversity that will require less water each year. Drought tolerant landscaping respects the present conditions in the American West while looking ahead to the future we wish to create.
