CAD Designs
When a component needs to be designed to scale and/or has structural features, we create a CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drawing for that component.
GFD's CAD drawings offer precise dimensions for technical design features.
They can be used for individual components, like retaining walls (pictured), drainage systems or gazebos, as well as for whole property layouts and new garden bed installations.
CAD designs with plants define planting areas and show specific placement of trees and some shrubs.
They do not show the exact placement of each shrub and perennial. Our designs include planting patterns and principles for our crews to follow when determining the exact location for a given plant when planting it.
