"A rose can never be a sunflower, and a sunflower can never be a rose. All flowers are beautiful in their own way, and that's like women too."

-Miranda Kerr

For the
Bride

The happy bride in the photo is me, Mary Pat, the owner of Great Fortune Design. My friend Nancy Hrupcin and I created the exact flower design for my wedding that I wanted.

The bouquet pictured, which Nancy lovingly assembled for me, is everything I wanted to be holding...yellow roses because my mother carried yellow roses, an act she spoke of as one of rebellion, because "you were supposed to carry white roses", two forms of eucalyptus to help me breathe, delphinium and iris because they were the deepest blue I could hold and a huge succulent I had picked out with my husband and had been tending for months.

My bouquet was beautiful and wild feeling, with bright clusters of color. I like to think these same attributes are significant within my personality.

My crown made me feel every bit the Bohemian Princess I had dreamed of being on the day I got to marry the love of my life.

I had a different flower clip ready to put my hair up later for eating and dancing. It was exactly what I wanted.

We want each of our brides to have that same experience of getting exactly what she wants.

Whether you've been collecting bride pix since junior high or you have no idea what kind of flowers you even like, we want the flowers that surround and adorn you on your wedding day to be exactly right for you.
