BACKYARD POLLINATOR SERIES
My backyard garden is Great Fortune Design's training garden for our employees and work example for our local clients. That means I have an awesome garden and every pollinator in the region knows it.​​
We have at least six kinds of hummingbirds, twelve kinds of bees, two types of moths and four types of butterflies who visit our garden every Summer. I am thankful for their company and hard work. I love walking out my door and capturing images of these amazing creatures.
COLORADO WILDFLOWER SERIES
I hike, backpack and generally adventure throughout Colorado. Wherever I go in Nature, I am always looking for wildflowers.​
​
It takes something special to bloom in the wild at high altitude. I like to think the wildflowers and I share this something special.
​​
I don't harvest wildflowers, but I talk to them. I thank them for bringing me joy and the animals food.
I take photos of them to share their beauty with others, some who personally know these flowers from their own adventuring, and some who would never trek through the high country of the Rockies themselves. Either way, I think the joy of wildflowers is contagious.
